NITROUS OXIDE ( nos / n2o ) advice forum

Anyone noticed how lonely the diesel section gets... while surfing all things nitrous today i came across some interesting stuff from WON 2005 furom http://www.technical-forum.com/nitrous- ... 17496.html. in particular the part about nitrous doing alot less as we get faster,the hybrid turbo thing did interest me as ive read about this alot BUT always been aware that my model car has no such turbo available,that was untill i found this.... http://www.hybridturbos.com/hybrid-turb ... bocharger/ so trevor and you clued up chaps,does this look like a valid way to go, cheers for any thoughts

However - how much strength is available in the bottom end. BMW are known for pushing engines harder than VAG - so the VAG engines take stupid amounts of modification without requiring a rebuild - the BMW equivalent I dont know but as far as I am aware the 2.0 engine wont quite go as far as the VAG 1.9.

Also as far as a diferent turbo - http://www.wolfysworkshop.co.uk/ This guy does rather spiffy manifolds for any engine and any turbo. Jabbasport do a mega hybrid turbo. Next issue would be probably injector nozzles and a remap. (And someone you could trust to do a Bimmer Remap)

Turbo Dynamics do a Hybrid for the 330d,
Celtic tuning have had 350 hp from them, nice addition to the nitrous

just noticed they do one for my 320d too, but over a £1000 and then engine management costs ,its always boils down to money

Yeah they aint cheap...but TD are very good at what they do,
Depends on how much power you want, the benefit of a hybrid turbo is that its more of a permenant gain than nitrous, and probably more insurance friendly....
That said though, id take both if cost was no object

oh if cost was no object i fancy a Porsche 911 turbo s.. when i see it do launch control i nearly wet myself

I have a 330d hybrid turbo’d meth running 415bhp now want to install a nitrous kit to take over the 500 bhp club these engine are solid

I've been looking at Venom Hybrid Turbos for my Mondeo ST TDCi.

Currently on the modifications at the moment they're saying Stage 3.

Just sorting out the wiring etc for DevilsOwn Meth and WON MaxExtreme 2 to work together with an AEM 0-500cc Analogue Flow Gauge with an output of 0-5v.

You guys make diesels sound soooo fun, it's too bad diesel cars aren't a thing here in the U.S. The main option is VW's but they are too expensive and they are not built to the same quality as in Europe

There are diesel 'trucks' but they also cost a small fortune.

Petrol is my only option

Unfortunately the Government are trying to finish diesels off in the UK.....whether they actually will will be another thing, but protect the enviroment and all that etc.

Petrol and Diesel prices aren't that far apart, I regually use BP or BP Ultimate for Diesel ($1.70 / $1.85 per Litre or thereabouts) so about $90 on a tank.

We did have a Petrol 3ltr V6 ST220 Mondeo but at 17mpg, it had to go because it was too costly on fuel.

Not sure what the Petrol or Diesel Prices are in the US now, but last time I was there in 2016 it wasn't too bad.

I just wanted them to be more popular so I can get one to play with for cheap

Plus, diesels are built with high strength so making tremendous power is possible without opening the engine or the gearbox.
