Hello all.

I've had my Lambo Diablo for about 2 years and after fixing numerous issues (Clutch, Transmission, engine seals and gaskets, valve adjustment) and upgrading the fuel, ignition, and exhaust systems I now have a reliable Diablo that runs as good as it left the factory.
I decided to install my WON system that I had on my BMW V12 for about 4 years on the Lambo. The car currently makes an estimated 530 BHP.

A little info on the engine
5.7L V12 48 valves
Bore x Stroke 87 x 80mm
Compression Ratio 10.0 : 1
From the factory the crankshaft is made of CrMo steel alloy, hardened and tempered, the working surfaces are gas nitrided. The cylinder liners are steel alloy with nikasil facing, titanium con. rods, and forged pistons.

The nitrous system that I have is 2 pulsoid sets (1 per bank) connected to a single crossfire (per bank). It will be controlled by the Max Extreme. Pics of the install so far are below. I will be going for 150 shot (75 per bank) possibly more. I sprayed 200 shot multiple times with the same system on the BMW v12.

I upgraded the fuel pumps from the stock bosch 130LPH (1 per bank) to the Walbro 255LPH (1 per bank). I flow tested the fuel system with the 200hp jets at WOT with only 2 psi drop.
I also replaced all the ignition components and installed 1 step harder NGK plugs.

Let me know what you think and advice if I should make any changes to the install.
I still have to complete the wiring and try the static test with 50 bhp jets. Possibly tomorrow or Sunday

Wow, just wow - awesome stuff!

I should state that your 850i was the motivating and instrumental factor for nitrousing my M70 e32 + deciding to go with Wizards of NOS, opposed to the systems from the USA ;) . I've enjoyed every minute of it and don't regret it for a split second.

Good to see that you are back in the game, look forward to any updates (hopefully some videos :D ) that you may have.
Definitely subscribed.

150 shot
The car is out of control making at least 650 hp
I'm trying to get a video of the rpm and speedometer guages on and off nitrous. I tried doing it by myself lol its impossible to hold the camera and shift gears at the same time with that much power. I'll ask my brother to hold the camera for me tomorrow.
The only problem is the Aholes that fill my bottles are only putting 8 pounds in it. They dont beleive that its an 11 lbs bottle. "Experts" They never heard of such thing.

CRAZY stuff Hadi, I take you have a Max Extreme controller and it's not set to full on.

Can't wait to see that.

 CAN'T THEY READ????? The MANUFACTURER'S stamp the tare (empty) & gross (full) weights (in Kilograms), into the neck of the bottle and the difference between the two, is obviously how much nitrous it holds.
That is all you need to prove it to the fools and just in case they aren't smart enough to convert Kgs to Lbs, it's just a matter of multiply the Kg figure by 2.2 to get Lbs

Max extreme is set to ramp up from 55 to 100% in all gears.
1st gear is 1 sec build time. Just enough to avoid clutch slip. But yesterdays temp fell into the upper 40s. Getting traction in 1st gear was a little challenging. Might need 1.5 to 2 secs build time in the colder weather.
Rest of the gears are 0.5 sec build times with no issues

Mentioned it to them twice so far but the guy keeps trying to convince me how NOS bottles fill the best and hasn't seen anything better in the past 15 years he's been filling bottles. Lol
Thats why I'm in the process of getting my own mother bottle and refill station.

I've heard it all now!!!!!

ALL US nitrous companies claim they make the best products (IGNORING THAT MINE EVEN EXIST), despite the fact that ONLY ONE can actually hold that position.

Now that's bad enough but for some IDIOT to claim that US bottles 'FILL' better that WON bottles is plain STUPID!!!!

At very best in their favour there can be no difference but the FACT of the matter is that ANY bottle accepts a FULL FILL when done correctly, as I'm sure you know but sadly they don't seem to have the brains to realise that.

As promised, here are some videos for your entertainment.
All runs were made with the 150 bhp jets

NO nitrous 25 to 120 mph in about 11 seconds. I could've done better with the shifting but I was babying the hardly broken in clutch then. It wouldn't have made much difference with the time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TXlHCL_RkE

Nitrous 150 shot 25 to 120 mph in about 9 seconds. Bottle pressure at 800 psi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6yjUCwLfyE

Quick test runs 150 shot. 1st to second gear. Car breaks loose in 1st gear. Bottle pressure at 950 psi. 20 to 90 mph

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfxoJL77isw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOCxYRYvHug

And the best for last.
I raced my brother's 2014 Mercedes SL550 AMG 4.7L V8 Twin Turbo on and off nitrous.
The Mercedes is tuned with a stage 1 aftermarket software making around 490 HP and 570 ft lbs of torque
My Car as mentioned above makes an estimated 530 hp and 430 ft lbs of torque with no nitrous

N/A Run 25 to 120 mph.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhSIzk4uO7o

Nitrous Run 25 to 125 mph. 150 shot 950 psi bottle pressure. Lost traction big time in 1st gear  Lol.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTdW42OE9Hk

Please excuse the video quality. All of them were taken by my brother with his cell phone. I was really busy with tuning the car on nitrous. Took a lot of time to get it to this point.
I have a race coming up with a 2015 Corvette Z06 (650 hp and 650 torque). We'll see what happens.

Enjoy and comment.

Don't you just love the sound of a proper V8 on the gas.

Many thanks for the videos and the report.

That last video sums it up well and as long as you can get the nitrous in early against the Vette you should have him out gunned.

V12 Trev V12 ;)

Either warmer weather or softer settings on the max in 1st gear to help with traction against the z06.

Updated pics above of the dual Crossfire X2.
I also realized that I don't have pics showing the bottle setup. The aluminum tank is a one gallon fuel cell for the nitrous standalone return style fuel system feeding the fuel pulsoids c16.
will be trying 175 shot and possibly 200.

Update

Been running the 150 shot reliably and no issues. Today I jetted the system for 180 shot.
Current setup:
Jetting: 180 nitrous 80 fuel for each bank
Fuel: C16 in the stand alone 93 in the tank, pressure 35 psi.
Spark plugs: NGK J10A, gap: .035 in. (1 heat range colder)
Bottle pressure: 1000 psi
stock timing.

went out for a couple road tests. The power is MENTAL words can't describe. spark plug check reveals good color and even distribution across all 12. The Crossfire X2 is another design from Trev that really works. who needs direct port? ;)
I won't be increasing the jets any further. I'm very happy with the result and its going to take a long time to get used to that kind of power in a car that has no traction control, no power brakes, old school and raw.
I will be doing race videos against similarly powered cars (Challenger Hellcat, viper, c7 z06 all making between 650 - 750 HP)
watch this space and wish me luck.

Awesome news and I can't wait for the results of your battles!

It's great to hear that your setup is working flawlessly and I am confident that I'll achieve something similar in the GS even though it's pretty much 1/2 of your overall engine :albino:

Yesterday I checked my spark plugs immediately after a run on the 180 jets and to my surprise I discovered the right bank is running richer than the left bank. This is a problem I never had running NA or on the 150 shot.
Initially when I installed the standalone fuel system, I flow tested the fuel with the 200 shot jets (100 for each bank) and no issues.
For the 180 shot I'm running 180 nitrous 80 fuel. I did some fuel flow testing when i came back home and simulated a 1st to 3rd gear run and sure enough I'm getting 120 ml out of the right bank solenoid and 100 ml out of the left.
To rule out anything else, I flow tested the 150 shot fuel jets (70 and the 60) fuel jets the same way as above and an even amount came out of both banks.
One thing I havent checked is swapping the 80 jets between banks and see if the flow amount switches sides.

Any ideas? Could it be that my 80 jets are not drilled to the same spec?
