Is this a record for a car as opposed to a commercial vehicle or truck.
When I returned from the track on sunday, with an empty tank, I filled up with Shell V-Power (as one does)
£113 thats $179.46 US dollars to our friends across the pond
and to make matters worse I lost a FULL bottle of NOS (another £66) due to a loose fitting - ARGH

Come on government, its about time you reduced fuel tax

Wouldn't be so bad (ok would be still bad) if some of the money went on the things we used to call roads which are now nothing more than dirt tracks with the amount of potholes in them :tard:

Even LPG is crazy at 72ppl and as for diesel - if I didnt get 60mpg then I would be in trouble! :drunken:

Yep about time something was done because the price of oil is not that high compared to fuel

About time the guvermint (ANY guvernmint) started giving value for money like businesses have to (except banks of course)

Funny you should mention "pot holes". Surrey council is processing my claim for my buckled wheels. I thought I'd had enough of letting them get away with it.

As we all know that fuel costs are at seventh sky and in such situations everybody needs a fuel efficient car to buy especially for the middle class people so I am giving just a suggestion to buy ford figo, new maruti swift, etios liva etc are fuel efficient cars which will be perfect to buy.

are you insane - your on a petrol heads forum and are mentioning fuel efficient cars !!!!! thats like going on a Hardcore HD site and spouting up you ride a HONDA - oh nice spam with the hyperlink :beatstick:

1.83 euro for a litre Shell 97 Vpower here in Holland. That would be 1.48 GB pounds.

The bastards.

the tinkerbell garage in barford near wilton, their own petrol prices have gone up 1p every 6 days in the last 2 weeks.

its now i believe 139.9

i sent a tweet to @ number 10 challenging them to do £1 fuel for a full one year without any increase of tax anywhere else, just to see if we the pulic are correct in saying this is the way to go for a better economy, ending with #£1fuel4oneyear

if they cut taxes more people will spend money bringing in more revenue, more revenue means more tax returns and more moeny to the governments, they harder they tax the less people spend as they dont have it - people end up not being able to afford to go to work so more on the Dole and more strain on the system meaning taxes go up and eventually THE RICH and their PEERS start to suffer when everyone else is desitute - tax less the economy grows but no one in government is willing to say it or impliment it
