Hello everyone just a bit of advise for anyone if your Pulsoid leaks like mine did at Santa Pod on Sunday.

I was removing my Pulsoid from its mounting bracket to change the jets, when I experienced a massive leak

Upon checking where the leak had come from I discovered it was from the cable outlet, I didn't do anything else that day and ran NASP all day.

I e-mailed Trevor who was very helpful and explained that the retaining stud must have come loose, which also holds all the internals in place. I downloaded the cross sectional drawing off the website that showed this.

I tightened the M8 stud and the leak was rectified

Quite an educational experience and learned a lot more about how the Pulsoid works

Thanks for making your post (as requested), because there are people out there who have experienced such a leak due to a lack of understanding of how our Pulsoids are manufactured and rather than contact us for assistance, they have junked them and spread unfair stories about Pulsoid failures.

The truth is as I informed you in our emails, our Pulsoids will never leak as long as they are fitted correctly and nothing is disturbed after that. The problems occur when people either try to use an alternative mounting arrangement to that supplied or they decide to dig inside to see how they are constructed or in your case the stud is loosened when the Pulsoid is removed.

I hope this post helps to enlighten anyone else who has experienced such a problem.

Same thing happend to mine Brookster. I left a message for Trev on his answerphone on the Saturday to let him know what had happened. He rang me back at midnight to talk me through the procedure of tightening the top bolt down so I could get back to racing on the Sunday. Never did thank you properly for that trev. Cheers mate.
