Sure would like to see a V8-carburetor only section. Just about all of the nitrous junkies I know are carbed American V8's with only a single stage.

Fuel injection cars around here are mostly supercharger or turbo cars.

I would specifically like to see more Spider plate combos. 1 Nitrous/1 fuel pulsoid combos would be great. There are tons of little tracks all over the US that limit combos to a single plate system.

I have a spider but I fed it with 2 pairs of solenoids as I wanted over the 150hp mark.
I have run my spider up to the 250hp mark with my present setup.
But I gave up on the spider and put my quad crossfire plate back on which seems to suit my engine setup much better.

Here is my crossfire plate system. It got my car way deep into the 10's with no hassles.

It's no surprise that most of our quickest customers run V8's and those that have used the Spider have all (except Perry for reasons I've yet to be made aware of) improved their results.

Our current quickest V8 customer runs a US Pro Mod car which has run 4.09 using one of our systems as an addition to 2 Speedtech stages but he's switching to a single WON progressive system for next year, so we hope to have better results to report then, which we'll then be able to justifiably claim will be due ONLY to a WON system.

We also expect to see a few other high ranked cars in lower classes doing well next season, which are situated in the UK, USA, Canada, Sweden & Australia. We also expect at least 2 of our quickest customers to be using a REVO system

Our quickest WON only assisted V8 is the Fatboys who have run in the 7.7 area in a fully street legal car that runs on pump gas on street legal treads.

Our current quickest Spider assisted car is an American called John Heard but he was also using a 2nd DP WON stage, so his results were not just using the Spider. I can't remember his times as they were run over 12 months ago (I believe he was unable to fund his racing this year) but we hope he'll be back on the track next year.

Our quickest SOLELY Spider assisted customer is a Brit called Ron Haslett, who has run 8.8 in a big heavy combination that is a genuine Street Car running on pump gas and street legal treads.

We hope to assist Ron to add approx. 1,000 HP extra through his Spider between now and the start of next season.

With regards to a specific V8 section on the forum, there doesn't seem to be any need at present, because ALL the current guys participating here to any degree ALl have V8's.

It seems all our other customers are either entirely happy with their fitted and working systems or they're too busy fitting them for next season to spend time on the forum.

What sort of capacity are these other spider V8's Trev?
I guess they are all seriously big engines eh?
Do you have any other Rover V8 spider customers out there. I'm sure there must be. I would like to discuss their spider setup with them. If anyone out there who runs a rover V8 and spider set up reads this then please pm me to discuss. I would like to see how you have set yours up as I still have some problems I cant figure out with my Rover engine.
Regards
Perry

That is a lot of serious pipework in those manifolds ???
But maybe a tad over kill on the plumbing??
Do I see some sort of copy of Trevs pro discharge system going on in there as well ?? :beatstick:

How much does all that stuff weigh vs a spider and 4 pulsoids??

Seriously BAD that is!!!!!

No US kit manages 'overkill' unless you're refering to the greater likelihood of detonation killing the engine due to the atrocious loss of nitrous density as a consequence of such poor plumbing etc.

Wouldn't say it was a copy of mine but more a copy of the Speedtech garbage.

A single stage is usually DOUBLE the weight of one of ours, so that makes a dual stage in the region of FOUR TIMES the weight and still unable to match the smooth progressive power delivery of our systems.

The ultimate REVO system will be even lighter and more capable.

I still think a V-8 carb specific section is a good idea. Yanks had a plane back in the day called a P-51. It sucked until they put an English engine in it.

If we see some sales come from the results that Trevor Stripling has achieved over in the US we certainly may add a US V8 section and although he uses fuel injection it's already looking to have caused interest in the V8 carb world.

We also have a US V8 carb customer (John Heard) who looks set to do very well next season, so he may also generate more interest in our products over in the USA, so anything could happen next year.
