Somehow i managed to qualify first and take full points after round 1 at Easter was finally rained off. I also never wasted any nitrous which was a bonus. So this weekend its round 2 on Sunday and round 3 Monday. I would rather have some fun pushing for low 11's on gas that tiptoeing the car through puddles Wish me luck and come say hi if you come along to SUNNY York raceway this weekend |

It sounds like it could be your year, so the best of luck for this weekend and the rest of the season. |

I have never been so happy to come 3rd place twice. I met the awesome 1580bhp Twister in the semi final on both days. The weather was very good considering the forecasts. On Sunday after a shakedown run i settled in to try the nitrous and ran 11.9. Then got my head together and ran a new PB of 11.58 @ 119, later on another PB of 11.42 @ 121 It just got better today, I was managing to heal and toe the brakes for a much better burnout with a nice cloud of white smoke. I ran 11.30 @ 125 with a 1.81 to 60 foot. In the semi final i hit the nitrous on the pushbutton in first gear and ran 1.79 to 60 foot, 7.3 @ 99 to the 1/8th and 11.24 @ 126 over the 1/4. This was with a 100 shot at WOT and a 75 shot on the pushbutton. I know i can improve my launch with earlier controlled nitrous so I have Tonys (Jensen Interceptor) max controller to wire in and play with for future events. I will also be doing away with the WOT microswitch and using the MS to trigger stage 1 in an RPM window. Its been a very good weekend |

Well done mate!! Have you not fitted a line lock yet If you get that 1/8th up to 103 mph you are gonna smash the 10's easy Pel |

No line lock yet Pel, been too busy fixing the clutch etc. I did fit some CL brake pads which are much better than the yellowstuffs i had in there. As for 1/8th terminal speeds, i think i am there for a 10. The LS Cerbera ran 10.7 with only 98 at the 1/8th but did set a blistering 1.622 to 60 foot. His 1/4 terminal was 133.9 due to over 600bhp. I am improving at launch and know i can gain at least another tenth to 60 foot. I reckon that will do it. Until I am hitting 1.6's then i will leave the nitrous jets alone. I think my 4.6 at 10.2:1 CR is happy to take the 100 + 75 at the moment and i dont want to push it further if i dont have to. Its progressive control and fine tuning i need now. Cant wait to get back |

My STOCK 3.5 Rover handled 2 stages FIXED at 150 HP each without any problems, so yours 'should' be able to handle even more than that, especially when progressive. |
