Sat and Sun 1st and 2nd October !!!

A whole weekend of RWYB at Santa Pod with racing until 9pm on Saturday!!!

The last chance for a weekend get together at the Pod. Saturday wil be racing and banter until 9pm. Then BBQ and beer up in the pits for the rest of the night. There will be NO real tech talk in the evening. But there wil be plenty of piss taking and bullshit over the open fire and BBQ while the beer crate gets some stick ??

We actually do talk tech stuff, but by 11pm the beer takes over and thats when the piss taking gets into top gear.

I wont be with the MGB. I'll be with a bright yellow Fiat Turbo next to a gazebo and a BBQ :)

Any WON folk want to come over and have a gtin on nthe Sat night Special ???

1700kg 1995 BMW 525tds touring, sub 20's maybe?

I'm very tempted to come up on the Sunday but not sure about the Saturday + night as Silverstone camping in the middle of August was cold enough :lol:

I was with Austin today when we spoke to you in the fire up lane. I was with the yellow fiat behind Austins truck.
How did you get on in the end?? I coudnt get below 14.0 or quicker than 102mph :(

Austins last run was a blinder. Not his usual 11.5's but an 11.61 with spinning tyres in 1st and 2nd. BUT he did reel in a 119.8mph at the top end :bow:

Well, a good day at the track ,que was abit slow ,but the sun made up for that .Nice to meet RAJackson hope you had some good times. Truck ran strong all day shame i couldn't do one more run only needed 0.3 MPH for a 120 MPH run. :D
Perry managed to embarrass a few high end cars in the Fiat :o ,well except me,Lol.

Was good to meet you Austin! my friend is big on american cars and loved your truck! it was all he talked about all the way home. (7 hours!)

my times were pretty shocking tbh! my fastest was 15.1, but as the day went on and the temperatures went up, so did the times, ending with 15.8's. my theory being the intake was getting heat soaked with sitting in the lanes for so long to get on the strip. shoulda ran a 25 shot to cool it all down :evil:

been to tesco tonight to remedy that! (yes tesco)

was my first time at pod, but really enjoyed myself and it was good to meet people from this forum as well as new people from my own club. definately be doing it again next season, albeit, i'd prefer more than an hours sleep before racing next time!

and perry! i saw you with austin, but wasnt sure if it was you!
