Apart from the TERRIBLE choice of product brand and the consequential bad designs, what are you referring to?

Very well spotted but you'd find it easier and quicker to try and find something that is 'GOOD' about it. ;)

IF anyone can put forward a SINGLE 'GOOD' aspect of that set up (other than the location of the nozzles, which is obviously COPIED from MY system designs), I'll give them £100 credit - SORRY TO BE SUCH A TEASE!!! :omgrofl:

just send me a bottle Trev...are you ready.........

the single GOOD thing about that setup is its ability to easily demonstrate how not to do things?

(i believe you have my address :) )

another bad...

all that weight isn't supported so the distribution blocks are going to be vibrating about and the plastic will eventually crack off at the nozzle mounting brackets?

LOL - very true and nice try. ;)

With regards to the bottle, I think we have one and I came close to checking it today but ran out of time. I hope to make time to do that tomorrow.

Very true and although its not a design fault (as it's a fitting fault), it shows that good fitting instructions are just as important, as designing the components correctly in the first place.

There are a couple of good things about that installation.

1. Its got a decent air filter.
2. Its not on my car

Good things...

It's all hidden from view once the airbox top has been put back on (saving embarrasment for the rider)

It's on a Hayabusa (Hedge-abuser) so at least it's a strong engine to begin with.

That's about it...

Good thing:

It`s up for grabs after one run on the gas because most of its engine internals will be garbage.
Anyone on the lookout for a cheap Hayabusa? Now`s your chance.

The distribution blocks look to be blocking a fair percentage of the air filter meaning the engine could well run a little rich which may help keep the motor healthy
