woohooo! cant wait for the vids.......but sort yourself out first!
With regards track prep, they may well be experts.....but they dont often have to deal with the conditions of Sunday. Although there was no rain, there was plepnty of moisture and I am sure the temp was pretty close to the dew point.
This year seems to be the first that there are so many January events, it cant be an easy task getting a damp track useable! This was the first time I have ever been and not seen any 'pro' outfits, I guess this is because they know the track wont be up to it
For the rest of us it is a good day out, and even if you dont run the banter and company makes it what it is. Sure it is frustrating when you pay your money and cant race, but I bet it is a hell of a lot more frustrating paying £1200 for jet fuel, paying 30+ staff for the day and ending up not turning a profit!
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss a return, at the end of the day the cost kind of pales in to insignificance against what we spend on our hobby
