As Guinness wont recognise my MGB as a quick car, I thought I might just get some words out on the net to see if anyone else has made the 10's with a Rover powered MGB. I'm not looking for a trophy.... I'm looking for someone to challenge my times on the 1/4 mile anywhere in the world :)

Then I will have a benchmark to work from. Has anyone in the world managed to get a 10 from an MGB V8 that actually has a Rover V8 engine fitted???

But I didnt include all the text at the top of my post. As there seems to be no real official way of getting my claim out there to see if anyone in the world wants to challenge me I thought I would include text that might be picked up on a google search.
This way I might actually find another MGB V8 owner out there who will challenge me :)

I'll only be just over an hour away from April rather than the 2 & 1/2 that I am at the moment so definitely have to put in an appearance and make a fool of myself :lol:
