I've done shit loads of research to try and find another Rover powered MGB that can run quicker on the 1/4 than mine. And the best I can find is a Rover V8 MGB + nitrous that ran high 11's back in the 90's. So I think I may be the actual best MGB now. I contacted the Guinness record guys and here's what they say in their application for a record blurb about claiming a speed record.
"We do not endorse records which involve driving between two points in the least amount of time out of concern for public safety and the legality of encouraging such events"
Yet they will accept the other Perry's record for the worlds fastest furniture??

* Largest Parade of Ferrari Cars

* Largest Parade of Horse-Drawn Carriages

Maybe I should claim an obscure record as the fastest fat bloke in an old MGB on the 1/4 mile ??
