Hi :)

I did this last year as its a charity event in aid of Help For Heroes...and I am an ex soldier...

Its held in the Barracks, which is a HUGE area, the 1/4 mile track is a little rough and downhill lol

But good fun and a lot of interesting cars there :)

I will almost definitely be going on the Sunday 11th....

All the best Brett :)

Just asked the wife if she would like to go see her sister who lives on Hayling Island and if I could pop out and just take a peek at this event. Unfortunately being at GTI in the last weekend of June and my car club annual event the previous weekend it drew a slightly negative response!!!!!! :tard: But I'll keep trying. :?

Sam!
Make sure you go back to the ORIGINAL settings you ran at the pod last time. Make sure you have NEW plugs fitted. Do a run and shut off like I told you as you cross the line. Then coast in neutral to a safe area where you can check the plugs. Your old plugs were showing signs of det on the inner insulator. I cleaned this off one of them and it was still ok after your last run. But there were deffo speckles on there??
So do a run as above. If no speckles then try the other ratio jets and do the same again. And check plugs after a shut off.

Hi All :)

I will be Drag racing here http://www.modifiedmadness.co.uk/ next Sunday.

Although I am still testing my new REVO Nitrous system, I am hoping to run a low 13 or better and take Adrian Clarke's UK 1/4 mile record for 928`s.

At the moment during testing I am only running 300 hp of Nitrous but with one small alteration I "could" change to 1000 hp or more although I will only use whats needed to hopefully take the record...

Its a very good day out (I did it last year) and in aid of Help for Heroes, and it would be great to see any other WON owners there :)

All the best Brett :)

Bugger!
I'm away for a long weekend with the family. I would have thought yours could have pulled close to a flat 13 off gas anyway Brett? Mine weighs in at 1200kg and pulls 13.4 off gas with 210hp on the old Rover. I know this sounds like a silly question, but believe me, its one I get asked all the time. Have you actually tried a full power pull off gas on the 1/4 lately? The reason I mention this is because I was asked the same question months back. And I realised that I had spent the last 3 years + on gas at the track. I had no idea what the MG would do off gas :)
So I did some runs in the last month or so to find that she runs 13.4 off gas on stock timing, and 13.6 off gas with the retard still on for gas. I just wanted to see what happened with the retard still on the ign.
I bet you have forgotten the last time you ran without gas eh :D

Hope all goes well mate. Keep us posted.
Will the revo stuff actually lay on that much power without breaking stuff?? If it does. I'm having some
