Any other 'WONers' going??

Weathers looking reasonable, and i've finaly got the twin nitrous lines fitted to the kitten, bottles filled, plenty of jets and it's one of the few weekends this year i'm not away doing other things....so i'll be there 8) :D

By Monday i should know if the twin lines get round the n20 wall of around 120-130bhp on a single nylon line  unlike some other 'famous' forum members, on Sunday i'm going to start again with small jets  ;)  8)

Ian

Good weekend, improved my pb to 11.88 @ 114.47 8) :) bar missed gears  every run on Monday was in the 11's 8)

Did a couple of runs against a Noble, they're not slow but not quick enough against the kitten :D

Started with just 75bhp on Sunday morning and over the weekend went upto 162bhp (325 n20 jet). The twin pipe set-up seems to have done the trick, after fine tuning the ratio's to around 10.5 afr on the 75bhp jets which worked out to 1.9 with a fuel pressure of 8 psi, the same ratio was perfect all the way to 162bhp and kept the afr at around 10.5 on every step up. I know that's a bit rich, but i like to keep it around there on n2o as the engine is a bit high on cr and i'm not running any retard (i can/will when it's needed though). Data logs, afr's, plugs were all perfect :)

Grip's a problem now, but then again i've had my MT's for 3 years now....and they were 2nd hand when i got them!. Most of the depth holes are invisible now, so suspect it time for something new. If i'm going to buy new ones, i'm thinking about reducing the wheel diameter to get a taller side wall (keep the same overall diameter), more give, flex, bigger foot print on launch etc???. Also the M+H drag tyres seem to be quite popular as opposed to Mt's. Any thoughts anyone???

Ian

Ha Ha!!
The kitten bites back
Well done mate. And about time too. You have been knock knock knocking on 11's door for ages.
See what difference a bit of pipe and a bit more fuel will do :)
I love my MT's. But M&H also very popular...

You down for the Retro in July?

Regards
Pel
