after 30mins of cleaning heatsink fins i decided a- i was bored and b- its a lot of heatsink
so im offering up the hifi as a contender for the biggest heatsink to be found in a home :D
Image

i forgot the need to be 100% accurate and specific on this forum :P
doesnt a heat exchanger on the back of a fridge count as an intercooler not a heatsink?
as its trying to loose heat from a flowing medium to another?

be to be clear and precise, i was talking about solid metal to air heatsinks

3 mains leads, 4 rca interconnects and 8 speaker wires just to listen to a cd 8)

at 38 yrs old i think i now come under that heading too lol
ive had kenwood hifi gear before, i think ive still got a kenwood twin tape deck somewhere :)
in the 1990s they made some really nice seperates

was tempted to buy some old quad gear before i bought the meridian stuff, that was from the 1960s using valves
solidstate electronics equils watts rms though

i think its the quality of the speakers that make a lot of the difference, buying the linn ninka`s had made the biggest improvement
