I do now drift forward out of the box.

That burnout was for 2 reasons!

1. Because I wanted to see how the engine ran with the way I had just jetted the carb. Its under load at high rpm, and it was fine.
2. I saw Ian with the camera so I stayed still while he moved up and down the car

I was practicing bigger burnouts this weekend as I had the time. You have to be careful though. Once the tyres are smoking, as you drift forward they let go again in any water in front and then hook like mad!!

On one burnout as I drifted about 2 feet forward the back end hooked left really hard and had me facing the wall with power on.

Jolly good fun though

And another reason was to get rid off some rubber. One of the rear tyres got a groove cut into it on the dyno. Body fouling issue. It was only about 1mm deep, but I didnt like seeing it on the tyre. Now its nearly gone !

Did I mention that I did a PB on a nasp run??

There I am winding down from a 1/4 heading for the exit when I get a set of them crappy LED running lights all GEERMAN cars have coming towards me

He had passed the first exit so decided to chuck a Uie on run off and come back up the strip to the first exit instead of running on to the end!

All the marshalls are waving him to head off the right way while they are holding the next run down.

We didnt see him again all day though Could be something to do with he made the announcers shit list!
