NITROUS OXIDE ( nos / n2o ) advice forum

OK - here we go again - the loosers over at PPC magazine have decided to run their £999 challenge again.

Its being run at the Pod on 17th September 2010.

SO Steve U and I are thinking of entering two Skoda Rapid's - The Blue turbo charged thingy and a red supercharged thingy.

After pulling the red car from its resting place of the last 5 years we found the car is actually VERY solid. The wheels turn and the brakes work sort of (need a bit of freeing, some new lines and some new fluid)

A trip to the scrapper to get an engine then we should be building the new car (I got the blue one started Monday with its new turbo and throttle body so it only needs its cage and exhaust to be complete)

I have enuf bits (thanks Pel ) to nitrous up the red one so we should be looking at two 14 second cars.

I know I wasnt going to do the challenge but hey its at the home track this year!

What does anyone think of the idea - anyone want to help?

Working on the cars through May - then assessing the entry.

May not get a place but then better to be prepared than not have a hope!

Shame i can't take the BIKE.

Bike cost £500. Cost £25 to get running.
WON kit was laying in the shed unused.
