I'm going to offer you chaps a competition!

The winner will get a free lunch from me :)

I'm doing a sort of lottery for the time my MGB will run in 2010.

I've already bagged a string of 10.6's on the strip in 2009. I now have another 60hp of nitrous on tap. I also have bigger rear slicks (28" tall as opposed to 26" tall from last season)
I also have a Holley 600 DP on the top of the engine as well. And I also have a Spider plate in the plenum?

I'll take bets from 10.6 seconds down to 9.99 seconds in increments of 0.1 of a second!!
That gives 8 people the chance of a free lunch.

I'm not bothered about 100ths of a second. We will keep it to the nearest 10th.

The winner will get a free lunch from me at the Pod. Or will get a present in the post from me.

Please don't be offended by that ;) , i really do hope that you'll get into the 9's, but i also know it gets exponentialy harder to go quicker. An mgb back axle on leaf springs....it's doing bl$$dy well already! :yes: :cheers:

HMM!!
The wall has been a bit of a worry lately I must say Moo!
But Scoop Dog will be on track this year and will be gunning for some good video footage :)

I reckon 2010 could well be the last dance of the MGB V8 :?:

If I go sub 10.5 I'll be happy. If I hit a 9 I'll be over the moon. The problem is. Each time I take a video cam to the pod the car runs like crap. So I guess I'll just need some mates on site to actually see the car run a new PB !!
And to help pick the bits up afterwards :rofl:
