ive tried in the last 2 days to log into my MATHEWLISETT accoutn and nothign happened, even tried to gain a password reset nothign came.

so by the off chance i tried my old one and im now here.

whats going on?

Good question but only Chip has the remotest chance of answering that (and I'd guess even he might struggle to do so) and he doesn't spend much time here nowadays, so sadly I don't know who might answer that question for you. :?

Hi Matthew.

That account is still active and is registered against the email address:
mathewlisett@yahoo.co.uk

you can request a new password to be sent to that account if you wish by going to the login screen and clicking the "I have forgotten my password" link

well thats where the problem is mate, according to the database there is no account under that as ive tried.

you must have typed something wrong, because I just went to the login page on the site and clicked the "I forgot my password" link and put in the following:
username: MATHEWLISETT
email: mathewlisett@yahoo.co.uk

And the response I got was:
Quote:
Your password has been sent successfully to your original e-mail address.



So I have no idea why you would think the database doesnt have you in it, it definately does!

ok theres soemthign wrong with te way the password is sent out mate, becuase ive literally only just got the new password activation email

There is some problem with yahoo mail recently, I emailed myself a document I needed on tuesday from my yahoo account, and it didnt arrive back (at the SAME account) for a day!

So I dont think its the forum that has the issue there mate, its yahoo email!

Weirdly some emails ive got straight away, so its only some of them.

That sounds familiar! bloody yahoo...can't leave anything alone,everytime I log on it's different.That's if it'll let me log on! I'll have updates and stuff working but my ip is telling me to check my connection??????
