As I'm getting close to the magical flat 10 second pass or better. I think the MGB needs a proper race name. When I find a name I like I'm going to have it slapped on the sides of the car in vinyl graphics.

Any suggestions chaps????

DAVE!!!!
Where you been mate. What hairstyle are we sporting today then :D
Long or cropped??
Whats going on with the Crappa??

I cant make my mind up for a serious name or a comedy name??
I've just been sponsored for the cost of the new carb and slicks. So there will be a Hannibal Lecter mask logo on the car this year. Not sure where, or how big. But I have to have it on there with the sponsors company name on the side rear window.

The obvious choice is a picture of the old steam train with the name Stephensons Rocket as my surname is Stephenson....But thats a bit naff eh?

Keep up the suggestions. However off the wall or bizarre chaps!!

Perry

A mate of mine has come up with a good contender for the name!

Mythbuster.........

As the car does seem to have put many MGB myths to bed.

1. You wont run 10 seconds in an MGB. I have.
2. The Rover V8 wont take the nitrous. It will.
3. You will smash the stock MGB axle. I havent.
4. The MGB suspension wont take the abuse. It does.
5. You will snap the half shafts. I'm using old MGB 1800cc half shafts. So up yours!!
6. MGB's wont go 150mph. Oh do shut up !!!!!

But I'm also looking for comedy names as well...

"The Grey Flash"
"Fatties folly"
"Scoobies for breakfast" (Although I dont want to upset anyone) :)
"Black Lightning"
"Black Thunder"
"Yes! Its an MGB"
"The 1/4 Pounder"
" Dont even think about it"

etc etc..
You get the idea....

Mythbuster sounds good - with myth busted on the rear numberplate?

What about 1/4 pounder with bacon?

Jason is earning some track time for 2010 by being my fibreglass beeatch as you can see here!

I'm thinking of a more up to date name for the car like. "Scoop Dog"
