Trev!!
Us Southern softies are looking for a date when all us SWON folk (thats Southern WON) folk can meet you again at the Pod in 2010.

We would like to have another get together. Preferably on a Saturday night special weekend. We could all hook up and race on the Saturday. Then you and the guys could come down on the Sunday to help us out after we have done some runs and have got some questions about our setups ???

Trev said he's going to be too busy this year. And with recent USA developments he may well be even more busy than he was expecting to be :)

Apart from its close to me , i would sooner run at north weald with there crap track poor traction and very interesting timing for a day out than spend feking hours at an over book Pod for a few runs and the mind bending bordem of the Qs , Times and improvements are cool but if ya want a fun day out anit getting the runs in what its all about

Not a fan of Pod at all for a fun day , Pod cool if ya want to prove car to limit on preped track and 3 runs a day

Maybe shakey would be a better site , Im sure Batty would have some insder info on best day for max runs

If someone has the info for North Weald dates etc, can a thread be got on the way.
Pel was singing the sites praises at the weekend and saying dates were very limited.
So any upfront info would be appreciated.
Its also nearer for me too.

Just checked link, why wait that long?
June 13th would be a good start for me as Bimmer is being rebuild April/May.

I don't think the Bimmer likes Santa Pod.
Did you know thats the 3rd time its complained about going whilst on route.

1. CATS failed on the M1 going to the BMW show 2008
2. Brake caliper seized on the M1 in 2009 going to a RWYB
3. Lost compression last weekend on the M1 going to Fast Show

THAT's 3 failures, you've had your lot now Bimmer, give me a break.

Lets see if I can break the bad luck (instead of the car).
This year is its last chance.

Nah Rich - its the M1

Need to stay away from it!

You do realise that the national speed limit DOES apply on the M1? Your not supposed to go and max the car in the outside lane.

I'm already booked in with a load of my V8 mates for a day at North weald on 9th May??
So lets get there for a gathering shall we??

As Tezz says. It gets busy and they sign on 200 cars and close the book. So you need to get there early. Gates are supposed to open around 8.30am. But thet normally open early because us keen folk are already blocking the road outside by 7.30am.

I leave home at 6am and get there at 7.15am. Sometimes I'm about 5th in the queue, and sometimes im about 100th??

So get there early ;)
