Santa Pod RWYB News - 04/01/2010 - Passengers Now Allowed

Santa Pod has just turned the track day market on its head, by being the first venue in the UK to allow guests to drive under fully timed race conditions – with a passenger!

This should be fun

Anyone wants a passenger ride in line will have to straddle some bottles. :)

I think it is a good thing for some - all the people who come along and watch will be able to have a ride - and with people paying to do that it might keep tyhe driver sign on fees down for a bit longer too!

So if your a driver, can you now hitch a ride in someone elses ride to laugh at them
(or can you get someone in to give/recieve some instruction.............)

get the first timers to go in with someone else so they get an idea before their first go

So when is fireforce putting in a passenger seat?

Too cold for their 1000 bhp hair dryer?

Either that or its snow mobile racing?

I thought that Steve, but its more likely that the access roads are totally blocked.
I knew this was all doomed, as I'm too well prepared.
The Gods are NOT gonna let me into 13's

Patience young Richard!!

Look to the 24th as a test day.
The track will be too cold for decent runs anyway I reckon. If the track is crap, just concentrate on launches and 60 foot times. If the track feels ok, we can go for it eh :D

I still havent taken the cover off mine from our last trip yet. Too much bloody snow piled up on top of the old girl. And too cold to be bothered to clear the garage.

We may be in Luck guys!
Our local forecast is for one hell of a snowstorm tonight. But its all going to fizzle out next week :)

I have emailed the MET office and placed an order via Paypal for rain on the 21st and 22nd. Followed by cold dry weather over the following weekend.

So thats sorted then

Rob was moaning about the snow today!

seems he should have taken mummy's micra instead of the furby :omgrofl:

Mind you he also should have more than 1.6 mm of tread on his tyres :loser:

Its been 10C and dry here all day. I've just got the car on the trailer and stuck a load of stuff in the truck for tuning.
Local weather forecast for here tomorrow is the same. Cold, dry and snow in the evening sometime.
