THis is just a mine field!

Got some 185 65 15 on the rapid and they scrape the wheel arches on acceleration - so swapped for some 185 55 15 but these are SMALLER than the original tyre
165 80 13 now i have checked.

Its such a pain calculating out the tyre sizes - so found an online one
http://www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator

THink I might look at making my own and adding in the drag tyre sizes as well - got to figure out the drag tyre sizes so any help on that would be useful!

What do you need to know about drag tyre sizes Steve?

They normally just state Height / tread width / wheel diameter.
This is where I pick my tyres from

So!
You need to know the max diameter the wheel arch can take (allow for a bit of expansion). And how much you can afford to have sticking out past the rim so it doesnt foul the arch lips.

You will then do as I did and find the right tyre for the job. Then take an angle grinder to get the bodywork out of the way..Simples

its how the tyre sizes work on the drag tyres - 185 55 15 - 185mm width - 55% of tread width as profile, fits on 15 inch rim - used to that

22.0/8/0/13 - 22 inch? 8 what - 13 inch wheel?

Going to need grinding and some welding to do the Rapid wheel arches as the inner comes almost to the lip!
