NITROUS OXIDE ( nos / n2o ) advice forum

I had a look around one of these today. And I have to say, I'm impressed with it. Not that I could ever afford one though!!

Parked next to another Porche its huge!! And I like the way it looks

I was invited to a Panamera launch day at my local Porsche dealer and had a good look at it, and if you ignore its looks its a great 4 seater GT car...the Turbo S can do 185 mph...

I was looking in the back when the rear hatch was up, and it had its special matching luggage set across the back between the two top strut mounts....

I said to the guy I was with...if I threw those out I could get at least 4 and possibly 6 Nitrous bottles mounted across there.....

There was a guy in a suit behind me whom I didn't realise was there, who nearly died in shock....

He was called Andy Goss and is the head of Porsche UK in Reading... loooollll

He said to me....ah you must be the guy with the huge Nitrous system in your 928.... then he said you wouldn't really put Nitrous on this would you ?

I said of course I would as my 928 is faster than that

He then started to talk to someone else and ignored me hehe...

p.s By the way if you buy the 4S and spec ALL the options it costs 135k.

I had much the same reaction at my local BMW Dealership, they know me quite well now too.
Last month my 840 went on display there, togther with other older models from the BMW Club UK.
The mechanics loved the N20 system (including the sales director who invited me)
I now get discount

Would be worth ANOTHER 10% discount on the top of what they give you- he probably wouldnt stop grinning for a week

Took a guy from work out a little while a go - down the road no nitrous (looking to make sure it was clear)
Then launched back on nitrous and showed him what the car can really do.
Got an email near then end of the day (6 hours later) - Still Smiling and laughing
he didn't sober up until 5 days later and it took a redundancy meeting to do that!

Just shows the power of nitrous to make the whole day go better!

My 1975 MGB is worth only 50p now. And I reckon with its 240hp of WON its still quicker than any Porka on the 1/4 mile by a long shot
