Totally off topic - Has anyone in business here ever issued a statutory demand?

On another subject the wife has given the green light for nitrous saying that its my life :rofl: :rofl:

What she wants in return is what i'm worried bout ...

I've always gone straight to the small claims courts but if you want more info I found this site for you;

Thanks for your advice Trev,

Sent a SD and a text asking the debtor "any good at poker"- cheque arrived a few days later - It seems that the jugular approach whilst risky proves to be the 3 f's, fruitful, free and fast - lol.

Small claims is a good, cheap(er) way to get your money back. As a last resort you can actually go through the courts to get the debtor (assuming a company) wound up and realise your debt. Of course, winding up might mean other higher priority debtors get paid first, but if their in serious doo-doo, you should get something back once the company is liquidated. As always though, the liquidator fees, bank charges on assets, o/s wages, etc get paid before the regular joe debtor.
