Yes quite a few but the most note worthy was an MZ Simson which was used for 6 hour endurance racing (on Nitrous) and survived for 2 years before being sold for street use (not a single engine problem).

Kawasaki AR50 with
AR80 gearbox and ignition.
Modified expansion chamber
AR125 end can

Broke a few chains until i uprated the size.
Only problem was finding out pulsoids had a time limit, once it had cooled down it started working again though.
and raising the gearing enough with limited room for a larger front sprocket.

Loopy, you might want to mention that they had a time limit because you were only using about 5bhp jets (im guessing) and that therefore there wasnt enough nitrous to cool them, in a normal application of 25bhp or more they will quite happily sit there pulsing all day long without ever getting hot.

IIRC with 2 or 3 head gaskets it was running near 15hp (DIY drilled) but i can't say for sure, it was beating a derestricted KMX125 top end anyway
(LOOOOOONG time ago !)
 They weren't pulsing either, that was straight and i "think" it hit 6 minutes or so.
Weird thing was once it cooled down it was fine, i was still using it 3 years later
