 Post subject: Your most useful product nominations
PostPosted: Tue Feb 08, 2005 12:09 am
Ok, what products would you struggle to be without if they stopped making it ?
This is open to ANYONE, if you're just here out of interest and the only time you get dirty is when your pen leaks then so what ?
What would be YOUR nomination.

Plus-gas;
Short of using oxy/acetylene this stuff is the best if you've got stuck nuts :shock: Its very hard to give real evidence but i've converted a fair few mechanics especially restorers over to it.

Loctite;
The entire range really :wink: Its got me out of / kept me away from and saved me from many varying depths, colours and odours of shit.

Wurth thread inserts;
On a day to day basis i use Helicoils or Keenserts, but when the shit gets really deep then either the standard or utter feck up Wurth insert steps in with a ladder.

Anadin Extra;
The only one that seems to work on my day to day headaches and yes i have tried all of the others !

Whats yours ?

I'm sorry Ant but we can't allow products we wish they HAD made.
Afterall, they wouldn't have stopped making that one due to demand !

(I still find myself making "Duke Nuk'em" sound effects when i'm stressed in traffic. DINK,dink,dink,dink......................BOOM "SPLAT(squelch)" :twisted: )

I second that Vic. I have no idea how a person found decent suppliers, etc. before the internet.
