To make the job of working with new coils of nylon line you can just throw them in an oven at the lowest setting(170-200 F / 76-93 C) for about 3-5 minutes. Just leave the nylon coils ziptied together and place on a baking sheet or something similiar. Remove from oven and clip the zipties. The coil will unwind and straighten out nicely. |

The rigidity of the line varies with temperature. A little more flexible when warm and stiffer when cool. This is why 'any' line starts to drop in pressure rating as temperatures increase, the line becomes less stable. |
