"...that by the end of the year i will be running a 300hp gen7 celica, via 100hp of nitrous on top of 200hp from the engine......"
but bloody hell its a battle to get things sorted!
I'm trying to get hold of TWO big fat 11lb bottles to feed the system. Hopefully should have both by mid september-ish...with these two, i'll never run out and feel like i effectively have a turbocharger! Minimax needed as is a fuel pump and de-cat exhaust!.
BUT the main purpose of this thread is this. In the next two weeks, i will be switching from my blitz short ram intake to an AEM cold air intake. What this means is i will have to decide whether a singlepoint injector would suffice for now and then get the pipework patched up later on when i go direct-port, or i will have to take the plunge now and get the direct -port conversion done now....realistically the minimax and fuel pump wont be with me until perhaps january, but not sure what to do in the meantime!
I get vacuum leaks in my current blitz inlet pipe (which sets off the engine check light and runs noticably lean) cos its got a hole patched up and don't want to have this problem with the new intake because its from america and i wont be able to get a replacement if it gets messed up.
so....take the plunge, or drill a new hole and continue for a few more months?
