I am currently running 50 bhp jets with a Minimax on my 2000 Saxo VTR and am in the process of upgrading to 75 bhp jets. My 5lb bottle tends to run out quite quickly as it is so im thinking of getting an 11lb one. Would this fit in the boot of my car or will I need to get another 5lb bottle and run two of them instead?

Cheers

Ryan

P.S - I have no ICE in the boot, just my nos bottle.

the 11lb bottle is about 4 inches by 25-28 inches

get your tape out and see if you can fit that in there (please note those figures are approx)

Dimensions for the 5 and 11lb bottles are listed in the product category in each appropriate bottle section.

I'm sure therte is but maybe HP doesn't carry them. We can get 20lb bottles in the U.S. but I don't supply them as the demand is nothing so far. Most people will just go with dual 10's.

I just measured my boot and I cant fit an 11lb bottle in straight. Could it be mounted at an angle like the bottles in this pic? http://img115.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img115& ... tlefit.jpg

Cheers

Ryan

Would this be an acceptable way of mounting the bottles? I was thinking of either linking the two or just having them both secured in there at the same time and just switching over to the other one when one was empty?
Any advice and info as the would be appreciatted.

would you advise linking them together and running at the same time or just switching between them when one runs out? any reliability issues with doing it either way?

Run both together, that way pressure should be more stable.

Jimbo is right but unless you have a Maximiser with the bottle level contents indictor you'd be better using one at a time then you should never get caught with an empty bottle just when you need it most. ;)
