Reading some old posts and came across this one: http://forum.nitrous-advice.org/viewtop ... =12&t=6736 In it, Trevor says to not use surface gap plugs with nitrous. Why? Seems to ideal for nitrous - much less likely as a source for detonation. So, once again, what am I missing? |

In it, Trevor says to not use surface gap plugs with nitrous. Why? Seems to ideal for nitrous - much less likely as a source for detonation. So, once again, what am I missing? The gap is not adjustable and it is too large for the power levels you'd typically need them for. Traditional plugs that are described in this forum are the ones to use. |

Yes they do 'appear' to be ideal and in some respects (those you mention), they most certainly are but unfortunately in one far more important and absolutely vital aspect, they are totally unsuitable, as per Alex's reply. |
