I presume they could all give out different types of signal or pulses but the max extreme is capable of utilising any of them. I just need to find out which wire of any the above to connect the the controller. I had a look at your you tube instructional on the max extreme so things are starting to look clearer, a question though, to use the controller you program start, finish power by gear, how does the controller know what gear youre in?, i,m not aware that my car has an output or facilty for that!
As previously mentioned, there are no connections between my car and the Maxy; the Maxy simply counts the "gears" sequentially up to the 6th and then goes back to 1st, essentially starting the ramp all over again.By the time I actually start fitting the hardware I should hopefully have gained enough knowledge via all these questions.

The Wizard himself (Trev) is currently enjoying his retirement and he entrusted me to do so. I supposed I'm as obsessed with the lovely nectar as much as he is. I feel as though this were my forum at times and I treat it as such.
