Just finished fitting the UNIQUE new system to Scalded Kat and tried a static test on JUST 40 bhp.
This system injects through the carb so to get full nitrous flow the slides need to be wide open. For the test we held the revs at 4,000ish which was achieved with the slides JUST OFF CLOSED.
Now in the 25 years I've been working with nitrous I've done 1,000s of static tests on race bikes and many with more than 40 bhp but the response on this was AMAZING and considering more nitrous bounced off the slides than could have sneaked under the slides that's even more AMAZING!!!!
It responded more like I'd hit it with 100 bhp but I bet it didn't even get 20 bhp through the almost closed carb slides.
If this bike responds to the gas on the track in proportion to the way it responded on the static test, I think we're going to see some outstanding performances in the future.
A new Promod bike world record is top of my wish list.
