Yes, that is the correct kit and the injector will be fitted in the bit with the blue pipe between the butterfly and the air filter. :yes:

I'm often asked if I have a dyno to measure the power the nitrous system makes and I respond like this;

1) We don't need a dyno as we just measure how wide the grin is on your face
2) If it doesn't put a big grin on your face it isn't working
3) If your face starts to ache after a few uses, due to all the grinning, you are probably making too much power and should reduce the jet sizes - lol

just as a bit of an update...

my 1 grade colder plugs came today, which i have fitted already... the engine feels a little smoother and the exhaust note sounds a little less heavy... I realise the grade of plug probably wouldnt change anything... but what it does mean is my car needed fresh plugs anyway.

in other news... i phoned Street car Nitrous today and spoke about having a WON kit fitted to my car, He said yes he can do it, but hes very busy at the moment, lots of jobs on... and isnt sure when he can fit me in :evil:

on the plus side though he does do nitrous refills, which is handy to know for future referance :yes:

Trevor have you got a number i can ring for your place, i dont mind driving up to Doncaster for a fitting... I just want to get spraying and spreading the WON word :lol:

If you send me your number to trev@noswizard.com I'll call you to save you the cost/trouble, alternatively you can call 01302 834343 and speak to one of my team.

Hi Goyle,

I hear you've given the office a call but there's been a misunderstanding about the fit time.

Our fitting time for any car is at least 2 days and we prefer to have the car at least 3 days, just to make sure we don't have to rush and risk any mistakes being made.

If you can't manage to leave the car with us that long or it's a problem for you to get here and back, the only alternative is as follows;

1) Fitting the majority of the system is VERY simple (but time consuming), so even total novices have managed to do that.
2) As the majority of the fitting doesn't incapacitate your car, you could fit some parts as and when you have time and still use the car.
3) Anything you can't fit or would prefer us to do, you can leave.
4) When you've done whatever you can manage, you could then bring it up to us and we'd finish it off and check over what you'd done, which we should be able to do within a day.
5) This should save you money on a number of counts and you won't be without your car.

This is a link to a pictorial guide of how it needs to be fitted, which is extremely easy to follow;

Ok Trevor... sorry about the misunderstanding over fitting time.

In that case I shall have a crack at doing it my self then, I guess if i run into any difficultys i could post up on this forum for advise/tips etc.

I am quite handy with the spanners, and have done a lot of home mechanics/conventional tuning over the years... but as i have never had anything to do with nitrous before, my thinking was its probably best to have it fitted professionally....

Right then... The WON kit is ordered :yes: 8)

Yes I'll provide assistance over the forum if Alex doesn't beat me to it. ;)

We had one guy who had NO IDEA what a spark plug was, never mind how to use spanners and yet he managed to do the majority of the fit correctly. He did however make one mistake, which if he hadn't brought it to us to check over, would have cost him his engine, so it's worth having us check it over for you.

One of my goals is to create a video as a guide to installing a basic WON system (IE: fixed hit single point injection and basic wiring method). My GS will be the star of that video.

BTW, the Sonic has another goody that just got done... so stay tuned for that on my channel later this week! :yes:

BTW Alex if your video is professional enough (as I'm sure it will be) and if you agree, we could add your video to out official video page.

great video :yes:

it will be interesting to see what difference it makes...

just in case you guys were interested to see, heres a video i made last summer of my other car, my 30 yr old ford capri with a modified 2.1 o.h.c engine.

i had just put the engine back together after taking the cylinder head off to change a blown head gasket, and was demonstrating that it now works lol :omgrofl: https://youtu.be/eoJZJ4N-Gqk
