His name was Chris and he had a problem with newly serviced pulsoids not working properly ??
He had been talking with guys in the pits and one of them saw me and said "go talk to Pel, he knows WoN stuff"
So Chris came over and explained that his old pulsoids had been serviced and the nitrous pulsoid was not working?
What was actually happening was that the nitrous pulsoid WAS operatng with no gas pressure. But when the bottle was opened it would not open. I spent a little while testing the system on and off gas to arrive at the conclusion that there was nowt mechanically wrong with the pusloid. So we then checked voltages and found that the battery had 12 volts as did the pulsoid feed. But when operated the pusloid line dropped to 8 volts. We then idled the enigne to see 14 volts at the battery but only 9 volts at the operating nitrous pulsoid. So Chris pulled off all the wires and did as we suggested to lash in a feed straight from the battery + & - to feed the system.
An hour later he was happy to have a working system and went racing
The man with the Ford Fiesta has now joined our little band of track buddies for the future
