Trev,

Although the following samples are composed of JUNK kits, what are your thoughts on how the engines are able to somewhat survive on these dry systems? These are some of the CHEAPEST and simplest kits sold on the web by your rivals that I see often from the likes of Dynotune, ColdFusion, Compucar, etc.

The kits apparently use the factory ECU's ability to read the air intake temperature changes and add enough fuel to make some power on the nitrous.

Of course, I would NEVER use such a system nor ever recommend such GARBAGE. However, I would still like your input so that I could prevent others from making the mistake of believing that results from such kits are safe.

All engines use different amounts of fuel under different loads and running conditions, this means that there are different amounts of surplus fuel available to deliver with the nitrous, so even if the ECU 'tries' to adequately increase the amount of fuel being delivered (as a result of the changing signal/s from the IAT and or AFM sensor/s), there's a high risk that it won't have enough, at some power level under certain conditions and we all know what the consequences of that will be. As long as you are well below the maximum surplus fuel available you should be OK but determining that level would be pure guesswork.
