is it easier to re-fill a near empty bottle than one that's just having a top up, say 30% refill?
thanks

It depends on how its being filled / topped up ?

Are you trying to do this at home or do you have a supplier with a pump ?

I take it to a supplier so not sure on the refill method but he has a lot of automotive experience. I got the feeling he struggled a bit on the last refill, although he didn't say, just wondered if I should let the bottle run closer to empty?
I may have a problem with the bottle shut off valve as when I shut the valve down after use I can't immediately disconnect the outlet pipe and have to wait a while for the system pressure to drop. Is that normal?
thanks

If you shut the bottle valve the system should retain is pressure. If you have a presure gauge fitted to the line after the bottle youmay well se this pressure creeping up on a warm day.

If the system pressure slowly drops after closing the bottle valve you have a small leak on the system or your nitrous solenoid is weeping.
