Hi folks,

me again with a quick question-after refilling my sfbk 1 nitrous bottle theres a slight hiss and leak (very small)when holding up to your ear from the solenoid outlet . it does not seem to lose weight ,maybe a gram or 2 overnight. any ideas.

thanks for putting up with all my questions!

Dave.

It sounds like you have some dirt stuck on the seat, so briefly energise the solenoid and with a bit of luck the force of the flow will blow it off. Even though the leak sounds to be extremely small, it would be unwise to connect the kit to your engine until it's fixed.

Glad you solved the problem easily. How is that kit working out for ya anyway? I still want to procure one of those sometime this year!

Awesome!

I may have to push back my desire to purchase one of them because I have to deal with the fact that my car's clutch can't handle so much extra torque, which I estimate to over 80% increase in torque over the factory setting. If progressive control doesn't fix the issue, a stronger clutch will and that will take a bit of time and money to do.

I assume you have received the Max by now?

With the Max you can select settings that will make it much easier on the clutch etc. but ultimately an improved clutch will be the obvious way to go, as you'll be able to use even more power.

Yes, Trev, I have the controller. Right now, it's temporarily mounted in the glove box but I haven't had the chance to hook it up. Too many things to do right now because I'm in college again. Hopefully, when I move into the house I'm buying, I'll have the opportunity to finish hooking it up. Using nitrous is just too much on the wimpy clutch. :pukeleft:
