Howdy all,

Not been around for some time as I've been collecting parts and slowly getting the the point where I can build my new supercharged engine. That time has now arrived and I'm almost ready to put the engine in which includes adding the nitrous again :D

I do have a question though. The instructions on the WON website say to use the lower half of the D block for the nitrous but this picture shows it the other way round:

Which way round should I do it?

Thanks :)

The purpose of the fuel side of the D-Block up is to let the fuel have the path of least resistance to get to the engine. With 40-50psig (injected engine), as opposed to 900 psi of nitrous, the fuel gets to the engine faster avoiding prolonged lean nitrous/fuel ratio each time the system engaged. That's why the fuel pulsoid must be horizontal to the D-Block and the D-Block oriented fuel side up. Single injector setups do best with the fuel pulsoid above the injector with fuel flowing downward.

That's about the size of it and to further emphasise the point, the fitting job you have posted could be further improved by locating the Crossfires in the top side of the manifold, so that guy didn't consult me to make sure he carried out the job correctly.

You should also fit the D-Block in such a way that the elbow with the lock nut is used for the fuel.
