NITROUS OXIDE ( nos / n2o ) advice forum

Hi i feel like a noob but im really new to this i purchased a wizards of nos slick fit booster kit(the 1st one)and am having trouble with the rather simple refilling of the nitrous cylinder . the cylinder refills through the solenoid using a 12v battery to activate it . i turn the master bottle on and press the switch but the nitrous moves very slowly or not at all. i was expecting it to happen quite quick.ive only managed to get 685g in and with the bracket it should fill to around 750g.im using a full bottle from nitrous oxide supplies(a 5b one)a 5mm high pressure line and everything works when tested not hooked up together.it seems such a simple thing but........any help would be great.

You need a bigger pressure differential to achieve a more complete fill.

The alternative ways to do that are;
1) Heat up the main bottle CAREFULLY to a known pressure
2) Cool down the SFBK/bottle
3) Have the main bottle as high above the SFBK bottle as possible

Alternatively you could upgrade to one of our other systems that have an actual valve on the bottle (rather than a solenoid) and that will be easier to fill as they have bigger flow paths than the SFBK.
