A senior project in the engineering program I'm enrolled in requires the atomization of nitrous oxide into a rocket motor. I am tasked with finding the appropriate nozzle to do this. I understand little about n2o nozzles. Do ya'll have any suggestions?! The chosen nozzle should have a minimal spray angle; Expected pressure drop is ~200-250 psi and flow rate is a little over gallon/minute. Thanks, any advice, charts, info help!!

Due to the extremely low boiling point of nitrous oxide when delivered as a LIQUID under vapor pressure, there is NO need to use a nozzle designed to vaporise it (as is the case with a liquid fuel), because it will naturally vaporise as it exits ANY nozzle and makes contact with any other media.
Furthermore, if you tried to pass LIQUID nitrous through a nozzle designed to achieve atomisation of a media, it would fail as it would cause internal freezing which would create a restriction to the flow.
All you need is a tube/nozzle with a smooth & constant bore of a suitable size to flow the amount of nitrous you want to flow.
Adding a suitable angle to the outlet 'edge' of the internal bore, will reduce the risk of freezing at that point and reduce flow losses due to turbulence.
Our Discharge Tubes are the ULTIMATE way to flow/discharge nitrous;

The second best option are our Nitrous nozzles;
