The kit that I bought second hand a year or so ago came with 4x crossfire injectors.
Im now selling the kit and someone has asked why use 4 crossfires, when they are really made for single injector applications.

Are there any advantages of using a crossfire over traditional direct port setups?

Thanks

Yes our Crossfires were designed with single point injection in mind but I also kept in mind that they were to be used in direct port applications as well and as a consequence they perform just as well in both locations.
They also perform MUCH BETTER than any other nozzle in both locations, although the advantages are even greater when used in single point systems, as ALL other nozzles perform APPALLINGLY BADLY in anything other than Direct port.
