seeing as no one wants to talk to me about nitrous how about....

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone. :D

The nitrous elbow can't have a lock nut, as its a taper thread/seal, Ted.

some help please trev

Today i did two things to the car i (wish i had done one thing but anyway) put in the 75 you sent me for the fuel and the 150 for nitrous..set mini max to 3 second build 30% power.
now as i drove out to warm the bottle heater the car felt very smooth, i changed the plugs from iltr6a-13g which were in the car to the same but with -8g smaller gap
as i hit the nitrous the car gave me the initial bang but then higher up the revs started to jolt in time with the pulsing noise which i can hear from the x10  so its like kangaroo juice.
but as soon as you back off the nitrous the car reverts back to lovely and smooth ...soooooooo trev is it the plugs or maybe it dont like the new mix
this is why i wished i hadn't done two things ;)

Ha Ha!!
What are you like Ted :)

Numpty??? No mate. I've done this a few times over the years. Have you got any idea what its like to prep a car for a 9 second run on the strip? We test everything to the max and make sure all is in working order. We even dry run the fuel and nitrous with lines out of the injectors to make sure everything is squirting out as it should. I then have a set procedure for a race. I go to the bleaches and do my burnout. Then as I roll out of the burnout I come to a stop where I then turn the rear brakes back on, flick the two arming switches to activate the nitrous fuel pump and the FRED controller. I then roll forward as I turn the bottle on and then set my ignition timing for the run on gas. Then I roll further forward as I pull down the harness straps to lock me into the seat ( I cant lean forward enough to turn the line lock off with the harness done up) and I'm ready to rock.

But on the odd occasion I roll out of my burnout to see the startline marshall hold me back as the car in front is in trouble. This then throws me a little and on 3 occasions I have braced myself for a hard launch to find all I have on the go is masses of extra fuel. :omgrofl:

We have fixed that now as the FIRST part of our race procedure is to turn the bottle on as soon as I am called forward for the burnout :)

At least your cock up was on your own and not with hundreds of folk watching :loser: Shit happens eh ?

The install is looking good mate. Keep us posted on the next round of testing !!

Perry

update.....
Very pleased with my testing today, i'm running 75 fuel 150 nitrous jets, mini max setting 60% at 2 second build time.
car pulls from standing start nice and strong, wheel spin can easily be had if required ;)
there is no doubt in my mind that i can go for the 200 jet...

Treated myself to a tegra note 7 a few weeks ago (great tablet)
one thing i was particularly interested in was the torque pro app, people who are into cars and android will be well aware
of this amazing software..got the mini blue tooth sender which fits into the ecu and we then have all the sensors available.
i've added a few digital dials, just waiting on a tablet dash holder and then can post some on and off nitrous figures 8)
When i first got this car i have to say i hated it :tard: i just didn't get it,people said it was all about the sunshine and
when the top comes down...ok few weeks ago we had some sun and i took the top down, mmmmmmm it was ok but my
face wasn't aching with smiles
well when i flick my new blue arming switch i'm positively :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D lol
thats what was missing :beatstick:

Where do you get that kit from and how much Ted?

Glad to hear you're so happy with the results but don't go too far as you might break something. I'm not sure how strong these motors are or how much surplus fuel they leave in the system.
