Trev, I'm thinking of turning my bottle from normal front to back, to across the car behind the front seat. I can reach the valve from my seat then. Sniper bottle with safety pipe fitted.

Bottle would actually be other way round so that I could reach the valve. Tesco cooler bag does that, plus it contains heater and insulation. Seats have been "re-cycled", it's now a 2 seat 5 door van.

Cheers Ted, so far I have got away with a minimum amount of tools when racing (tyre inflator, spanners to change Nos bottle, jets etc, pliers, screwdrivers and chocblocks. They are all in my Roy Cropper lifetime Tesco bag.
Image camping out at Dragstagia this year. Sweet home a la Vanner as lynyrd skynyrd would say.
This is also why I want to put the bottle behind my seat as I have to unbolt it to make my bed. BTW Headboard is now chiminea fodder.

Sorted it, knew I had the info somewhere. Next job over the winter is to WoN it right through from bottle to engine as it is a bit hybrid at the moment (can't shorten braided hose easily). Anyone got a Venom spare?

We may have a used Venom we can supply at 2/3 rds of new price and we should be able to help shorten the braided hose by supplying a screw on hose end fitting.
