Hi everyone!

A long time I've been here since i first used a SB150i kit on my capri 2.8i.
Since than, we have built a Mk1 Escort 408W back in Hungary, raced it NA only for years,
best ET of 10.5@129 and for next year i plan to install the black widow plate i bought couple of years ago.
I lived in the UK for years, now moving back to Hungary for good and will have more time to work on the car myself not just to fly home for race weekends only.

So, i have almost all the bits and pieces ready for plumb the system in however i need some advice how to because i don't have much experience in it.

I am planning to start with 100hp + soft settings on Minimax and step up slowly and safely to 150hp.

Especially the fuel solenoid plumbing and jetting is a dark area for me.
What do you think, how should i set up the feed for the fuel solenoid?

There is a free port on the fuel cell so i am thinking to create an independent feed from it with it's own fuel pump and regulator.

Also how should i determine first the correct nitrous/fuel ratio? The static test would work with this plate?

What engine?
Can you show a picture of the induction system. I assume you have a carb on a single plane inlet manifold?

Also what power is the engine making and what is the existing fuel supply? ie pump specs and pipe sizes.

Have you trial fitted the plate yet?

Small block Ford, 408 windsor.
Yes, 850 carb, vic jr. intake.

Don't know the power, holley blue pump 110gph. 8mm fuel line.

Haven't tried to fit it yet but it's a 4150 plate so it should fit.

A separate fuel supply will be fine but I'd add a safety fuel cut off switch or better still I'd add a Max Extreme and fuel transducer, so you can not only cut off the system in the event of pump failure but also view the pressure in the car.

If you'd like to contact me direct by email (trev@noswizard.com), I'd be happy to provide you with all the help you need to achieve a successful end result.
