Hello all, as the title says would it be possible to fit an sprv to an old bottle valve?.

I have a Maxflox and 11lb bottle but looking at another one for a spare.

Did the old valves have blo off disks, could you cut it flush and tap a thread in?.

It depends exactly what valve you have but quite often our SPRV can be fitted IN PLACE of the original rupture disc but you just need a thicker spacer/seal, than when they are fitted to our Max Flow valves.

Something you may like to consider, is that we have one or two used/serviced MaxFlow valves available at present, at just £55, which includes the SPRV, so it's a pretty cheap alternative to a generic valve and then adding an SPRV.

That's a good deal on the valves!, would be interested in one of them if I get the 2nd bottle.

Going to try and get in to have a bottle or two filled next week so if I can get a second bottle could you fit the valve if I leave it with you a few hours?. Could take the kids to the Zoo to kill some time..
