Nitrous jet sizes - Motorcycle
I just purchased the won solenoids for my top gas bike. I was running 28 -nos, 26 fuel at 6 psi = 100 hp ? I want to step up to the max of the 150 hp solenoids so what is the proper jet size for nitrous- 950 psi / 6 psi- fuel. There seems to be different jet charts and I want to be 100% correct. I think it is Nos-32 / fuel- 30. Can I set the solenoids with the final jet sizes in the fogger nozzles? Do I need to install a jet in the solenoid jet holder as well? Or is the orifice set up for 150 hp max?
I want to go to test and tune this weekend, so it has to be close.

Can I assume this is a 4 cylinder bike?

I'll deal with your questions in reverse order;

1) The orifice & plunger lift (which is uniquely adjustable in our Pulsoids) are 'roughly' set at 150 HP at the factory but it can be optimised to deliver anything lower than that, as described here;

2) No you don't 'need' to install a jet in the jet holder but if you used say 75 HP jets and didn't adjust the seat to flow close to 75 HP, it would be better to do so. However, if you intend to use the Pulsoids to the Maximum, you do not need a jet there.

3) If you fit jets that flow slightly less than the Pulsoid/seat is capable of flowing, your jets at the Foggers will dictate the flow and mixture ratio.

4) NOS 32 jets will flow just over 150 HP and if you were getting decent results from 28-26 (which is roughly 100 HP), you should be OK with 32-30 but as our Pulsoids tend to flow better and more efficiently than other solenoids, I suggest you start by increasing the fuel pressure by 1 to 2 psi, to ensure you're starting from a safe rich setting.

Thanks for the advice:) Yes it is a 4 cyl. 1500cc Suzuki GS 1986. I will bump up the fuel and take a plug reading and check the air fuel mixture on the Wego reading to get a good idea of my safety margin. Probably will start with around 12@ timing retard to get a stripe reading on the plug, at least I'll feel better having the extra fuel pressure to fine tune from that point.
I do appreciate your assistance. Last year I ran a 7:60 dial in with 100hp....40% start...100% finish...all power in 4 seconds..which could also be reduced to about 3 sec. for a better front half. The bump is 7:50 seconds, and we want to run on the edge of the bump...but with a safe tune..of course with our new solenoids I feel confident about the safety zone and smooth power.....and we will have lots to spare..lol
