 Post subject: leaking pulsoid

Hi all

i have an issue which i explained on the facebook page of a leaking nitrous pulsoid, the nitrous leaks out the wiring hole if i tighten it up on the mounting bracket, was told that the innards are lose? how do i go about fixing this

Remove the nut on top if its a dome nut. Use an allen key to tighten the screw / stud thats sticking out of the top. This should solve your problem. If its a normal nut then just slacken it off and tighten the allen screw.

As it only leaks when you tighten the nut it means the allen bolt has become slightly loosened and the force of nipping up the bracket is causing a microscopic movement which is enough to let the gas leak out of the piston bore sealing cap. The only way out for the gas is through the wiring grommet.

sorry to bring this back to life, i did as you suggested but now it leaks even more, i tightened it up clockwise is this correct? il have another go when i got time or im just going to ship it back to you guys for a service better safe than sorry,

its running on a fully forged mr2 turbo so def cheaper not to risk it lol

It sounds like it was allowed to be so lose that the O ring seal blew out and now just tightening it down will NOT seal it. It would certainly be best to return it to us to sort out for you and we'll give the whole unit a good inspection to make sure it's as good as new again.
