i had a failed plunger on an old fuel pulsoid and it really was and trevor sorted it out brilliantly for me so no complaints but i have just been thinking is it worth making it a maintenance job to swap out the fuel plunger every year or two for the newest version along with a new filter in the nitrous pulsoid inlet

i may be being paranoid but thought it was worth asking

thanks

I thought the WON pulsoids are maintenance free as long as you prevent fuel sitting too long in the fuel pulsoid.
I sometimes switch on the system but keep the bottle closed and give it full throttle for a few seconds to flush out old fuel in the pulsoid. That should be enough I reckon.

If fuel ingredients keep changing and until we know that the current fuel plunger seal material can handle the current ingredients long term, it would certainly be worth having them at least checked every year.

Nitrous Pulsoid are not at risk of such issues.

How much is it to get the solenoid checked out and reassembled if it doesn't need anything replaced

Thanks

Very true.

Its the same as a service, because a service is just the cost to dismantle, inspect and replace 'O' ring seals, rebuild set up and test (£35), as that is usually ALL that's needed and any major parts (like a fuel plunger) are charged for extra IF needed.

Howdy.

I could have sworn I asked this in a previous post but it seems to have vanished when the forum threw a fit.

Trev - do you have a current service price for non-X10 pulseoids?

Cheers,

Owen.

As stated in the above post, regardless of which type of Pulsoid it is.
