Evenin' folks.

Could I have some advise to see if I'm going in the right direction?

If I'm going to go this nitrous thing then I've decided to fit it to both road and project car. :twisted:

So I'm going to be playing with multiple bottles in two different cars and intend to make it as idiot proof as possible.

(1) I have a heater and a pressure switch. Common sense would indicate that the switch should be fitted to the SPRV side of the valve so if some numpty (that'd be me) leaves the heater on but closes the bottle valve it doesn't all go horribly wrong. (Also one less fitting for the nitrous to travel through to get to the engine.) Down side is you then need one switch per bottle... Unless there is an economical way to do it? An in-line valve (leaving the SPRV permanently "live" but switching the pressure switch port off enabling the switch to be removed) might work but would cost as much as a switch! How do you guys do it?

(2) The gauge I intend to mount in the cockpit but on the downstream side of an in-line valve on the output side of the bottle. (Bottle > in-line valve> pressure gauge > engine.) It seems sensible to know the pressure of the N20 actually going to the engine, not what's in the bottle if either of the valves have been left closed.

Does that all sound sensible?
