I'm on the dyno at 8.30am tomorrow. Then over to Banbury to pick up the rest of my 4.6 engine, then back home to finish filling the skip with all the garden crap. What a way ot finish the last day of my 2 weeks off. Got to work Sat and Sun to leave next weekend clear :)

Sure am John :)

I only paid 200 notes for the old wagon..... And to be honest, its plenty big enough for me and the wife to use as a family hack and for holidays. Back seat is big and the boot is a good size too. Seriously thinking of tarting this up to keep for a while. I'll have a look at the ac as its got no gas in it. Thats all that doesnt work??

I've got the stuff to pressure test and top up if its not a bad leak. ;)

Considering you can buy these in great condition for not a lot of wedge I would reccomend this as a weekend fun car. Engine repairs and main service stuff like cam belt are expensive so i guess thats why these come along cheap. Can you imagine this lump shoehorned into a skanky old nissan micra as a drag car :omgrofl:

No need to Perry, they're already shoehorned into a skanky old Fiat's albeit fairly decent looking one's. :omgrofl:

Cracking RR results by the way

13.6 is a good number for a £200 car eh mate???

I reckon I might get well into this car for a while as the V8 is undergoing a major freshen up for next year in order to make it ready for that 9 second attempt. Only 0.5 of a second to go but I bet it will take at least 9 months before I get close.

13.6 is a very good time indeed

How much do you reckon you can push this one?

I'm still struggling with the Emerald but would love to spend a bit more time at the Pod next year once it's done. I'd love to get into the 13s but not sure how realistic that is really :loser:
